MULTIMEDIA
“So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?”
-Hunter S. Thompson

BINDING HIS OWN BUSINESS
March 2019
I put together this story for my multimedia capstone in college. It allows Karl Grummich, the owner of Cincy Bindery, to tell the story of his business, originally founded by his father. The art of bookbinding is not lost in the Queen City. Karl and his employees work by order in a warehouse tucked into the business district of Camp Washington on Spring Grove Avenue.
MAKING THE PAPER
January, 2019
I teamed up with a coworker to pull back the curtain that veils the printing process. We pulled an all-nighter to shoot behind the scenes of the printing process and learned firsthand what it takes for local papers to survive in an age where printed journalism is suffocating.

TNR BAKES! PUMPKIN PIE
November, 2018
I married my culinary and broadcast writing education into this tutorial video, which was shot and edited by a coworker. I crafted the script to accommodate even those with minimal baking experience and narrated the video as well.

RÜYA: THE FUTURE OF TURKISH COFFEE IN CINCINNATI
October, 2018
Rüya is the brainchild of Melis Aydogan, a first generation Turkish-American who brought her culture's communal coffee-drinking traditions to Cincinnati. Now, Rüya exists as a pop-up, echoing the nomadic lifestyle that immigrants experience. This broadcast-style package was created on deadline for a news writing and production class my senior year of college.
